Lizard Head Trading Co. is a locally owned vintage and secondhand clothing shop on Main Avenue, right next door to the Durango Diner. It opened in September 2023 and has quickly become a favourite for anyone who loves a good rummage. The shop was designed as a relaxed, friendly space where you’re welcome to take your time.

The rails are filled with pre-loved and vintage clothing for men and women, and new stock arrives regularly, so there’s always something fresh to find. It’s a lovely way to pick up a one-off piece with a bit of character, whether you’re after everyday layers or something a little different for a night out downtown.

As the name hints, this is a buy, sell and trade shop. If you’ve packed more than you need, you can bring clothes to the buy counter and walk away with cash or store credit the same day. It’s all part of the shop’s mission to keep good clothing out of landfill and give it a second life.

Lizard Head opens every day from 10am, until 8pm Monday to Thursday, 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays. The buy counter runs from 10am to 5pm. Pop in on an evening stroll along Main and experience Durango your way.
